IGNOU recruitment: Vacancy announced for consultant post, check details

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited from eligible candidates for the post of Consultant (Full Time) purely on contractual basis in Finance & Accounts Division.

The term of appointment is initially for a period of six months. Further extension may be given on the basis of satisfactory performance.

The maximum period of the term will be of two years or up to attaining the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier from the date of appointment.

Vacancy Details:

Consultant (Full Time) for Audit:1 post

Educational Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Commerce and CA/CMA(ICWA) qualified person with 5-7 years experience in the field of Audit and Accounts in Central / State Govt. or Central / State Universities.

Retired personnel at the level of Sr. Audit Officers and above from Audit Department with SAS qualification may also apply.

Remuneration: Rs.40,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated) to be decided by the Selection Committee.

Eligible candidates need to apply for the above mentioned posts before June 30, 2022.

“The post of Consultant is purely on contractual basis and person selected will have no right whatsoever for absorption/regularization against this post in the University. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing the interview,” IGNOU notice read.
