IGNOU Recruitment: Apply For Academic Consultant Full Time Post, Salary Up To 60K

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of one post of Academic Consultant in the School of Education (SOE).

The initial recruitment will be made for a duration of 12 months (with the recruitment being initially for a period of six months after which it may be extended depending on the candidate’s performance).

As per the official notification, the remuneration would be Rs.40,000- Rs 60,000 per month (consolidated).

Vacancy Details:

Educational Qualifications:

1. MA (Psychology), M.Ed. & Ph.D. or MA/MSc (Any subject), M.Ed. with specialization in Guidance & Counselling/PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling and Ph.D.

2. 55% marks for General Category or 50% marks for Reserved Category in Master’s Degree 3. Experience of minimum 5 years in research/teaching

Desirable:

1. Experience in open and distance learning material development

2. Fluency in English and Hindi language skills

3. Good computer skill

Job profile: The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of in-service teacher training programme to be offered by the University. The job would include writing and editing of course material, supervising and vetting the Hindi translation and assisting the faculty in day-to-day activities related to programme development and delivery.
