IGNOU invites applications for PRO posts in 7th Central Pay Commission scale, check details

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for Public Relations Officer (PRO) post under unreserved category.

The engagement will be in the Pay Matrix (78,800- 2,09,200) Level 12 of 7th CPC and the upper age limit is 52 years as on January 12, 2023.

IGNOU Vacancy Details

Public Relations Officer (PRO): 1 post

Essential Qualification:  A PG degree from a recognised University with at least 55 per cent mark or its equivalent grade, preferably in Journalism. Besides, 8 years experience in Public Relations Works in the scale of pay not less than Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3, GP-5400) preferably in University or Institutions of Higher Education, Including relations with the press and electronic Media, Preparation publicity material etc.

A relaxation of 5% of marks shall be provided (from 55% to 50%) for all the posts at the Master's level for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

Start date of submission of online Application Form: 12.12.2022

Last date of Submission of online Application Form: 12.01.2023

Last date of receipt of print copy of duly filled in application form along with the self-attested testimonials: 22.01.2023

Application Fee

Candidates must go through the instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee of Rs 1000 for General candidates, Rs 600 from SC/ST/EWS and women applicants. Meanwhile, PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fees for submitting the online application for the IGNOU PRO job in 7th Pay Commission scale.
