IGNOU Invites Applications For Engagement Of Consultants; Check Details

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) School of Foreign Languages has invited applications for the engagement of full time Consultant in Spanish.

Similarly, applications have also been invited applications for the post of Academic Consultant (Full-Time) for Sindhi Chair housed in the School of Translation Studies and Training (SOTST).

Vacancy Details

1. School of Foreign Languages (SOFL):1 Consultant Post in Spanish

Remuneration: Rs.40,000 – Rs.60,000 (As per IGNOU norms)

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in the concerned language with minimum 55% marks (for General Category) or minimum 50% marks (for Reserved Category)

Instructions: No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview; only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview.

2. Academic Consultant (Full-Time) for Sindhi Chair at SOTST: 1 Post

The engagement will be for a period of six months and extendable on six monthly basis up to a maximum period of two years on satisfactory performance. Eligibility:

Essential Qualifications: 1. M.A. in Sindhi with 55% marks (Relaxation of 5% for the candidates belonging to the categories specified by UGC) Ph.D. in Sindhi

Desirable Qualifications: 1. NET/JRF 2. Adequate knowledge of Hindi
