IGNOU announces vacancies for academic consultant posts

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications from eligible candidates for two posts of Academic Consultants in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Services Management (SOTHSM).

Both the posts of academic consultants are on full-time contractual basis.

As per the advertisement, the positions will be initially for a period of six months, extendable further as per the requirement of the School.

Academic Consultants: 2 posts

Education Qualification & Experience:

MTTM/ MHA/ MBA NET/PhD in any of the above mentioned disciplines

NET/PhD in Tourism / Hospitality

Nature of Work

Academic Consultant of the University is involved in activities pertaining to the development of academic programmes offered by the University. This job entails writing, vetting and editing of course material (English and Hindi); as well as assisting the Faculty in day-to-day activities related to course development, development of audio and video programmes (English and Hindi) and related activities.

Other Details

These posts are purely contractual and person selected will have no right whatsoever for absorption/regularisation in the University. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview, the advertisement added.
