ICMR Recruitment 2023: Apply for Technical Assistant and Technician posts, check details

The ICMR-National Institute of Virology (ICMR-NIV) has issued an official recruitment notification for the temporary positions of Technical Assistant and Technician. 

The application process is currently underway, and candidates interested and eligible for the roles can submit their applications online through the "MKCL RecruitLive portal" at https://niv.recruitlive.in. 

The deadline for submitting the application form is December 10.

NIV Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 80 posts

• Technical Assistant (Group B): 49 posts

• Technician (Group C): 31 posts

Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess a minimum qualification of Class 12th/Diploma in Engineering/Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit

For the Technical Assistant post, candidates should not exceed 30 years, and for the Technician-I post, the maximum age limit is 28 years.

Application Fee

SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of fees. For all other applicants, a fee of Rs. 300, along with applicable transaction charges, is required.

Pay Scale

• Technical Assistant (Group B): Level-6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400) 

• Technician (Group C): Level-2 (Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200)

• Starting Date for Registration of Online Application: November 26, 2023

• Closing date for registration and submission of online application along with fees payment: December 10, 2023, up to 11:59 PM

• Starting Date for availability of Admit Cards: To be intimated by MKCL

• Date for Online Computer Based Test: December 16 and 17, 2023
