ICMR-Nirjaft to hold recruitment drive for young professionals, SRF post

ICAR – National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology (NIRJAFT) has invited online applications from eligible candidates to fill up multiple vacancies.

ICAR- NIRJAFT Vacancy Details

1. Young Professional 1: 1 post

The engagement will be on short term basis and co-terminus with the project ‘Upscaling of an eco-friendly microbial extraction method of keratin from waste wool and its different technical applications’ under IWDP project of CWDB being executed under Quality Evaluation and Improvement Division of ICAR- National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, 12 Regent Park, Kolkata.

Age Limit: 21-45 years

Date of interview: Will be communicated to the selected candidate after screening. The last date to apply is December 12, 2022.

A consolidated amount of Rs 25,000 will be paid to the selected candidate as monthly remuneration. No house rent allowance will be paid to the young professional.

2. Young Professional: 1 post

The engagement will be on short term basis and co-terminus with the project ‘Development of a minimal water retting technology of jute’ under NASF project executed under National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology.

A consolidated amount of Rs 25,000 will be paid to the selected candidate as monthly remuneration. No house rent allowance will be paid to the young professional.

3. Senior Research Fellow: 1 post

The engagement will be for the research project ‘Development of a minimal water retting technology of jute’ under the National Agriculture Science Fund (NASF).

Upper Age Limit: 35 years for me and 40 years for women candidates (relaxations as per ICAR norms).

Remuneration: For first year Rs 31,000 per month + HRA. For the second and the third year, Rs 35,000 + HRA as per rules.
