The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially commenced the 2025-26 recruitment drive for 6,128 clerk positions. Interested and eligible aspirants may submit their applications for the preliminary test on the official website, www.ibps.in. 

The deadline for submission of the application is July 21. The IBPS Clerk preliminary exams is scheduled to be held in August while the main exams in October.

IBPS Recruitment 2024 Details

Age Limit 

As on 01.07.2024, the candidate must be 20 years to 28 years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

A candidate must have passed the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university.

Computer Literacy 

Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory.

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates and Rs 850/- (inclusive of GST) for all others. The application fee is to be paid by July 21, 2024.

Selection Procedure

The IBPS Prelims Exam paper for Clerk includes sections on the English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability, consisting of 100 questions worth 100 marks. Negative marking of 0.25 will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

Candidates must qualify in each of the three tests and secure cut-off marks which will be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted for Online Main examination.
The exam will be held in a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) mode. The IBPS Prelims Exam paper will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The IBPS Prelims Exam will consist of two sessions, and both must be attempted. Failure to attend any session will result in disqualification.

The participating banks are Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank.

•    Visit the official website at ibps.in.
•    Click on CRP - Clerks - XIV.
•    Click on the link to apply.
•    Create an account to register.
•    Log in and complete the application procedure and pay the fee.
•    Download the confirmation page for future reference.
