Indian Air Force has come up with great opportunity for Indian/Gorkha male candidates to appear in recruitment rally to join the IAF as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’, Medical Assistant trade.

Prospective candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website at airmenselection.cdac.in.

The registration process is likely to begin on May 22 and will conclude on June 5, 2024.

The recruitment rally is likely to be conducted between July 3 and July 12.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in English is required. Alternatively, candidates should have completed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, from recognized Education Boards, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Candidates possessing a Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy must have passed their Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Furthermore, a Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and valid registration from either the State Pharmacy Council or the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrollment is a mandatory requirement.

Age Limit

To be eligible for the Medical Assistant trade, unmarried candidates must have been born between January 2, 2004, and January 2, 2008, inclusive. For those pursuing the Medical Assistant trade with a Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy, unmarried individuals should have been born between January 2, 2001, and January 2, 2006, inclusive. Married candidates aiming for this specialization should have been born between January 2, 2001, and January 2, 2004, inclusive.

Registration Fee

Candidates are required to pay registration fee of Rs 100 plus GST while registering for the Recruitment Rally.

Pay and Allowance

During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month. Upon successful completion of the training, individuals will begin their service with a starting gross emolument of Rs 26,900 per month, inclusive of Military Service Pay (MSP) at the minimum scale of pay.
