The Indian Air Force has announced the IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2024, with the registration period set to commence on January 17 and conclude on February 6, 2024. 

Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the official website of IAF Agniveervayu at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Age Limit

Applicants born between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007, are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Additionally, if a candidate successfully completes all stages of the Selection Procedure, the upper age limit at the time of enrollment should not exceed 21 years.

Educational Qualification

For candidates with Science Subjects

Candidates must have successfully completed the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English is required.

Or

Completion of a Three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course).

Or

Successful completion of a Two-year Vocational Course with a non-vocational subject such as Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).

For candidates with Other than Science Subjects

Completion of Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Or

Successful completion of a two-year Vocational Course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).

Selection Process

The selection procedure includes two phases of online tests: Phase I and Phase II. Candidates who successfully clear Phase I and Phase II examinations will undergo Physical Fitness tests and Medical tests.

Examination Fee

Candidates are required to pay the examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus GST online during the registration for the online examination. The payment can be completed using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or Internet Banking through the provided payment gateway.

Pay Scale

Agniveervayu will be given one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:
