HPCL recruitment 2022: Big vacancy of over 180 posts announced, check details

The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has invited applications for multiple technician positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official site of HPCL, hindustanpetroleum.com. 

"HPCL invites applications from dynamic, result-oriented, aspiring individuals for filling up of the following positions at Visakh Refinery – Visakhapatnam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply ONLINE through www.hindustanpetroleum.com under 'Careers'," said HPCL.

Through the recruitment drive, HPCL will fill up a total of 186 posts. While the registration process began on April 22, the last date for application submission is May 21.

Boiler Technician: 18 posts
Operations Technician: 94 posts
Maintenance Technician (Mechanical): 14 posts
Maintenance Technician (Electrical): 17 posts
Maintenance Technician (Instrumentation): 9 posts
Lab Analyst: 16 posts
Jr Fire & Safety Inspector: 18 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed qualifying examinations in relevant disciplines. All the qualifications should be full time regular course recognised by respective State Board or applicable competent authority. Courses offered through part time or distance mode for
employed person will not be entertained for the purpose of educational eligibility criteria.

Except Junior Fire and Safety Inspector positions, candidates (belonging to General, EWS and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60% (aggregate in all semesters/years) marks in qualifying Diploma / Degree examinations, relaxed to 50% (aggregate in all semesters / years) marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01-04-2022) 
Maximum Age: 25 years (as on 01-04-2022)

Note: Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as degree in Engineering, AMIE etc are not eligible for consideration and need not apply.

Application Fee

UR, OBC-NC and EWS candidates are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 590 along with payment gateway charges if any
(which includes GST@18%). However, SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
