HPCL Announces Big Opportunity For Engineers, Check Details

The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has invited applications to engage Graduate Apprentice Trainees in several fields at the Visakh Refinery of the company. 

The eligible and interested candidates can apply for the post through National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.

The last date to apply for the vacancy is January 14, 2021.

Age Limit

The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 25 years. There is age relaxation by five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD candidates, respectively.

Educational Qualification

The candidates applying should have Engineering graduation in their respective trades with 60% aggregate marks of all semesters/years.

Monthly Stipend: Rs 25,000

Training period: The engagement as Apprentice trainees will be period of ONE YEAR only.

Selection Process

Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria will be called for interview. Management reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview which will be tentatively scheduled in the month of January 2022.

Merit list will be drawn on the basis of the academic results of engineering degree and scores in the Interview. The final offer for apprenticeship training would be subjected to clearing the Medical test as per HPCL standards and submission of all the documents/certificates towards proof of age, qualification, caste, medical certificates of PwBD and medical fitness etc., as may be applicable.

How To Apply For Apprenticeship At HPCL

Step 1: Enrol on NATS portal. Once enrolled, log onto NATS portal using USER ID/EMAIL ID and password.

Step 2: On the NATS Portal home page, click on “ESTABLISHMENT REQUEST” and select option “Find Establishment” from drop down menu.

Step 3: The page will appear with two “Search criteria”, i.e. Option to search by 1) Preferences and 2) Establishment Name.

Step 4: Among the search criterion option select Establishment name, type “Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited” and click on option “Search”.

Step 5: Apprentice vacancies at HPCL will appear. Click on Establishment name “Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited” and select “Apply” button.

Step 6: Once clicked on “Apply” button, a message will appear “Successfully applied for the training program”.

Note: Before applying candidates must ensure that all their profile details (Caste, Educational background, Personal credentials etc.) along with aggregate percentage (refer calculation of percentage in eligibility requirements) are appearing correctly in their application.
