Heavy Vehicles Factory announces recruitment for Apprentice posts, check details

Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi has released an official notification for the recruitment of 59th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices Training under the Apprentices Act 1961.

The application process has already begun and the last date to submit the application form is June 22, 2024.

HVF Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 253 posts

• Fitter (Non ITI): 32 posts

• Machinist (Non ITI): 36 posts

• Welder (Non ITI): 24 posts

• Electrician (Ex ITI):    38 posts

• Electronics Mechanic (Ex ITI): 10 posts

• Fitter (Ex ITI): 45 posts

• Machinist (Ex ITI): 43 posts

• Painter (Ex ITI): 5 posts

• Welder (Ex ITI): 20 posts

Educational Qualification

For Non-ITI Candidates: Completion of Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) is required.

For ITI Candidates: Completion of Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) and the relevant Trade Test from an NCVT or SCVT recognized institute is required.

Age Limit

The age limit is between 15 and 24 years as of June 22, 2024. However, there are relaxations in the upper age limit as follows:

• For UR (Unreserved) candidates, the maximum age is 24 years.

• For OBC candidates, the maximum age is 27 years.

• For SC/ST candidates, the maximum age is 29 years.

• For PH (Physically Handicapped) candidates, the maximum age limit for each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST) is further relaxed by 10 years.

Additionally, for ITI candidates, the upper age limit is further relaxed by the period of training already undergone, according to the normal duration of NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade.

• Fill the application form with required credentials

• Candidates are required to send their filled application form by ordinary post along with all documents in an Envelope super scribed in block letters “59TH BATCH TRADE APPRENTICES” to the following address before the closing date and time
