ESIC Recruitment 2022: Apply for Professor, Asst & Associate Professor Posts at Joka ESIC Medical College

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released a recruitment notification for recruitment of Professors, Associate Professors & Assistant Professors on contract basis at ESI-PGIMSR Medical College in Kolkata.

Eligible candidates should present himself with filled in application form on scheduled date for walk-in interview.

• Professor: 3
• Assistant Professor: 20
• Associate Professor: 18

Educational Qualification

Eligible candidates are required to have MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master of Surgery)/DNB (Diploma of National Board)/MSc Degree from a recognised university.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not be exceeding 69 year on date of document verification and interview.

Terms of Contract

Total period of contract of teaching faculty will be initially for 1 (one) year extendable on yearly basis for a total period of 3 year, including initial 1 (One) year.

Pay Scale

The remuneration will be paid as under:

• Professor: Rs 2,28,942
• Associate Professor: Rs 1,52,241
• Assistant Professor: Rs 1,30,797

Remuneration under SRESTA scheme to retired army teachers

Professor (Consultant)
a) Rs 1.88 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is under 9 years 
b) Rs 2.0 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is 9 years to under 13 years 
c) Rs 2.2 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is 13 years of more 

Associate Professor (Consultant)
a) Rs 1.42 lakh, if the post-PG experience is under 6 years 
b) Rs 1.88 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is 6 years or more

Assistant Professor (Consultant) 
a) Rs 1.2 lakh, if the post-PG experience is under 3 years
b) Rs 1.42 lakh if post-PG teaching experience is 3 years or more

Application Fee

• SC/ ST/ PDW/ Department candidates, female candidates and ex-servicemen: Nil
• All other categories: Rs 225

A Demand Draft of Rs. 225/- in favour of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I’, drawn after date of issue of advertisement on any scheduled bank payable at ‘Kolkata’ has to be submitted along with the Application Form.

Selection Procedure

• The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the Selection Board
• Results will be published on website: www.esic.nic.in

Interview Venue

The interview shall be conducted at DEAN OFFICE, Academic Block, 2nd Floor, ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700104 from 09:00 AM onwards.

• 16.11.2022: General Medicine, T.B Chest, Microbiology, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology & Psychiatry.
