ECIL Recruitment 2023: Apply for Apprentice posts by Dec 15, check details

The Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has released a notification for the recruitment of Graduate Engineering Apprentices and Diploma/Technician apprentices. 

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications online through the official website at https://www.ecil.co.in. 

The application process commenced today, and candidates have until 4 pm on December 15 to apply for the aforementioned positions.

ECIL Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 363 posts

• Graduate Engineering Apprentices: 250 posts

• Diploma/Technician apprentices: 113 posts

Educational Qualification

For the Graduate Engineering Apprentices (GEA) position, eligible candidates must have completed a four-year B.E/B.Tech course in the specified engineering branches on or after April 1, 2021, from colleges approved by AICTE or recognized Indian Universities.

As for the Diploma Apprentices, individuals eligible for this category are those who have successfully completed a three-year diploma.

Age Limit

The age limit for candidates applying is a maximum of 25 years as of December 31, 2023. There is an upper age limit relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NC candidates, and 10 years for candidates with disabilities (PWD).

Stipend

• Graduate Engineering Apprentices: Rs 9,000

• Diploma/Technician apprentices: Rs 8,000

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted based on the merit of qualifying examination marks. Specifically, for Graduate Engineering Apprentices (GEAs), the merit will be determined by the consolidated marks obtained in the BE/B.Tech course. Similarly, for Diploma Apprentices, the selection will be based on the consolidated marks achieved in the Diploma program.

Important Dates

• The online registration of applications by candidates will commence on December 5, 2023, starting from 10:00 am

• The deadline for candidates to complete the online registration of applications is December 15, 2023, until 4:00 pm

• Documents verification at ECIL is scheduled for December 21 and December 22, 2023

• All joining formalities are expected to be completed by December 31, 2023

• The commencement of Apprenticeship Training is set for January 1, 2024
