Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell has published an official notification for the recruitment of Apprentices.

Eligible candidates can apply online via the official RRC ER website at rrcer.org. 

The registration process will commence on September 24, 2024, and conclude on October 23, 2024.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.

Additionally, candidates should possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. 

Age Limit

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and not exceed 24 years of age as of the cut-off date for receiving applications.

Selection Process

Selection for a training slot in an Eastern Railway unit will be based on merit. A merit list will be created for all eligible candidates who apply according to the notification. This merit list will be compiled based on the information provided by candidates in their online application forms.

The merit list for eligible applicants may be created by means of averaging the share marks received in both the matriculation examination (with at the very least 50% combination marks) and the ITI exam, giving same weightage to each.

Application Fees

The utility price is Rs 100. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempt from this price. Payment may be made the use of Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, and so forth.
