DSSSB recruitment 2022: Fresh vacancy announced for over 600 PET, TGT posts

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released a recruitment notification inviting applications for the posts of Physical Education Teacher and Trained Graduate Teacher among others.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the DSSSB posts on or before November 8. The application submission process already began on October 19, 2022.

Candidates should note that only online applications will be accepted. “Applications received through any other mode shall stand summarily rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard,” read the official notification.

DSSSB recruitment 2022 Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification

Librarian: Degree from a recognised University or Equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Diploma in Library Science or a recognised University/Institute or Equivalent. 

Experience of Two years in Library/computerization of a Library, OR, one year certificate in Computer Application from a recognised institute or equivalent.

Assistant Teacher (Nursery): Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognised Board/University. 

Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognised Institute. Must have passed Hindi at secondary level.

Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science): Bachelor’s degree in computer application (BCA) from a recognised university, OR, Graduation in computer science from a recognised university (provided that the computer science subject must be studied in all years as main subject), OR, B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/ Information Technology) from a recognised university, OR, Graduation in any subject and ‘A’ level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication and Technology, Government of India.

Domestic Science Teacher: Bachelor’s degree in Domestic Science/Home Science from a recognised University/Institute. And, Bachelor’s in Education with Domestic Science/Home Science as a Teaching subject.

Physical Education Teacher: Graduate with Bachelor's of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or its equivalent.

Mode of Selection

The selection of candidates will be made through One Tier examination scheme.

In case of any question(s) appearing in the exam are held to be invalid, those questions will not be evaluated and the marks scored by the candidate will be calculated on prorated basis (out of maximum marks).

Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Test/Exam will be normalised (If required) and such normalised scores will be used to determine final merit and provisional nomination/selection.
