DRDO Recruitment: Apply For Junior Research Fellow Posts, Stipend Rs 31K Plus HRA

DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory –Artificial Intelligence (DYSL-AI) has released an advertisement inviting applications from Indian nationals, who desire to pursue AI related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

As per the notification, four Junior Research Fellows will be recruited under the recruitment drive.

The last date to apply for the posts is January 16, 2022.

Junior Research Fellow: 4 Posts

Educational Qualification:

- B.E/ B.Tech Degree in computer science / computer science and engineering/ electrical engineering / electronics and communication engineering in first division from AICTE accredited institute/ university with CSIR-UGC (NET)/ Gate qualification. Or

-Post Graduate in professional course (ME/M. Tech) in computer science/ computer science & engineering/ signal processing/ information technology/electrical engineering/ electronics and communication engineering in first division from AICTE accredited institute/ university.

Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on the date of interview. Age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC candidates.

Emolument: Stipend of Rs 31,000 per month plus HRA as applicable (at present 27 per cent).

Tenure:

-Candidate will work initially for first two years as JRF and will subsequently be elevated as SRF for the remaining two/ three years, subject to satisfactory performance to be accessed annually as per DRDO rules.

-The offer of fellowship is purely temporary in nature for a limited period as per rules in vogue and does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.

-Those who were already awarded JRF position in any of DRDO laboratories/ centres earlier are not eligible to apply again.
