DRDO recruitment 2022: Apply for 58 scientist posts, salary up to Rs 1.31 lakh

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up 58 Scientist(C, D/E and F) posts. 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts online by visiting the official website of DRDO RAC -- rac.gov.in. 

According to the notification issued by DRDO, the last date for online applications for the posts is 28 June 2022.

Scientist ‘F’: 03 posts
Scientist ‘E: 06 posts
Scientist ‘D’: 15 posts
Scientist ‘C’: 34 posts

Pay Scale 

Scientist ‘F’ (Basic pay: Rs. 1,31,100/, Level 13A as per 7th CPC)
Scientist ‘E’ (Basic pay: Rs. 1,23,100/ , Level 13 as per 7th CPC)
Scientist ‘D’ (Basic pay: Rs. 78,800/, Level 12 as per 7th CPC)
Scientist ‘C’ (Basic pay: Rs. 67,700/, Level 11 as per 7th CPC)

Age limit

For Scientist ‘F’: Candidates must not be above 50 years.
For Scientist ‘D’/‘E’:  Candidates must not be above 45 years.
For Scientist ‘C’: Candidates must not be above 35 years.

Application fees 

Candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS (male) categories need to pay Rs 100 towards application fees while SC/ST/Divyang and women candidates are exempted from them.
