The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier Institute under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited application from young and meritorious Indian nationals who desire to pursue defence-related research as Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

As per the official notification, the selection will be made on the basis of online-interview (through video conferencing) of shortlisted candidates.

The last date for submitting online applications is September 24, 2021.

1. DRDO Research Associate (RA)

RA- Life Sciences: 1 vacancy

Qualification: PhD in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology

Stipend: Rs 54000 per month + HRA as per DRDO rules

RA- Chemistry: 1 vacancy

Qualification: PhD in Chemistry (Experience in organo-metallic chemistry / synthesis of metal organic frameworks will be given preference)

Stipend: Rs 54000 per month + HRA as per DRDO rules

RA-Pharma: 2 vacancies

Qualification: PhD in Pharmacology/Regulatory Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences (experience in animal handling and pharmacokinetics will be given preference).

Stipend: Rs 54000 per month + HRA as per DRDO rules

2. DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

JRF-Chemistry: 2 vacancies

Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/GATE (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency.

Stipend (monthly): Rs. 31,000+ HRA as per DRDO rules

JRF- Life Sciences: 2 vacancies

Qualification: First Class M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech in Life Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with NET/GATE (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency.

Stipend (monthly): Rs. 31,000+ HRA as per DRDO rules

JRF-Pharma: 1 vacancy Qualification: First Class M.Pharma/M.Sc. in Pharma with NET/GPAT (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency

JRF- Physics: 1 vacancy

Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Physics with NET/GATE (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency

Stipend (monthly): Rs. 31,000+ HRA as per DRDO rules

Upper age limit: 35 years for RA and 28 years for JRF as on the date of interview. The upper age limit shall be relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years).

Tenure: The tenure of RA is maximum Two Years. Tenure of JRF is maximum Five Years. Candidate will work initially for first two years as JRF and will subsequently be elevated as SRF for the remaining three years, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed annually as per DRDO and National agency rules providing research fellowship.
