DRDO RAC Recruitment: Apply online for multiple posts in 7th CPC scale
Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) has invited applications for graduate engineers and post graduates in Science for recruitment to the posts of Scientist ‘B’ in Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100/-) in specified disciplines and categories.
Once released, the online application submission link will be available at RAC website, https://rac.gov.in. Online submission closes after 21 days from activation of Link. The Written Examination is likely to be held on October 16.
RAC is hiring for Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical, Material Science & Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Aeronautical, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Material Science, Naval Architecture, Environmental Science & Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Microbiology and Biochemistry.

Educational Qualification
At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/Master’s Degree in Science in required stream from a recognized university or equivalent.
Candidates should possess the requisite essential qualification along with a valid GATE Qualification or essential qualification from IITs/NITs with minimum aggregate 80% marks.
Age limit for candidates
The upper age limit is relaxable for ex-servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per rules.
How to apply
Examination centre
The written examination will be conducted at DRDO centres in seven cities (Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Pune) as well as at other common centres, if the need arises. Candidates are required to indicate their first and second preference of examination centre in the online application from among the listed centres.
However, RAC reserves the right to allot any centre as per its administrative convenience.
Liability to serve
As per the central government rules, selected candidates will have the liability to serve anywhere in India including remote/ field area locations.
