DRDO-NSTL to hold walk-in-interview for JRF posts, check stipend

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has issued an advertisement for the engagement of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) at UWR, Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL) RTC, Goa.

As per the official advertisement, the walk-in-interview will be held on February 11, 2023.

Vacancy Details

Junior Research Fellows: 2 vacancy

1. Electronics Engineering: 1

2. Physics: 1

The vacancies will be initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules) at a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000 + House Rent Allowance as admissible as per rules.

Important Instructions

Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on date of Walk-in-interview. The upper age limit shall be relaxable for the candidate's belongings to SC, ST and OBC as per Govt. of India orders. Those who possess the prescribed qualification acquired from recognized University/ Institutions only need to attend the Walk-in-interview.

NSTL reserves the final right to select any candidate or not. The award of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.

A Written Test consisting of Objective type Multiple Choice Questions may be conducted to shortlist the candidates for Interview. Based on the performance of candidates in the interview, a panel of selected candidates will be prepared for the available vacancies and future anticipated vacancies. The panel would operate for a period of one year from the date of interview, the advertisement read.
