The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory.

As per the advertisement, the JRFs will be initially engaged for a period of two years at the Laboratory. The walk-in-interview for the posts will be held on May 21, 2022.

Vacancy Details:

1. JRF (Electrical & Electronics Engg/ Electronics &Communication Engineering): 1 vacancy

Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engg / Electronics & Communication Engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification.

or

ME/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engg/Electronics & Communication Engineering in 1st division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

2. JRF (Chemical Engg/ Chemistry/Polymer Science/Material Science): Anticipated

3. JRF (Oceanography /Ocean Technology/ Meteorology): Anticipated

4. JRF (Computer Science & Engineering): Anticipated

5. JRF (Opto Electronics): 1 vacancy

Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Opto Electronics in 1st Division with valid NETIGATE qualification.

or

ME/M.Tech in Opto Electronics in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

6. JRF (Physics): Anticipated

General Conditions:

-All the qualifications acquired should be from recognized Universities/Institutions.

-NET/GATE qualification wherever prescribed should be valid as on the date of walk-in interview.

-Candidates working in Government/Public sector undertaking/ autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.

Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on the date of walk-in interview. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC as per Government of India norms.

The Fellowships shall be awarded initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), with monthly emoluments of Rs. 31,000 plus House Rent Allowance as admissible under the rules.
