DRDO invites applications for apprentices engagement at PXE Balasore

Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), Chandipur, a premier Establishment under Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has issued an advertisement for the engagement of apprentices for one year ‘Apprenticeship Training’ in several categories.

The PXE is engaged in dynamic test and evaluation of armament systems.

As per the advertisement, the candidates can apply before the last date on September 2, 2022.

1. Graduate Apprentice (BE/B.Tech)

Computer Science: 3 vacancy

Electronics & Communication: 3 vacancy

Mechanical: 3 vacancy

Stipend per month: Rs 9,000

2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma)

Civil: 3 vacancy

Computer Science: 13 vacancies

Electronics & Communication: 15 vacancies

Mechanical: 11 vacancies

Stipend per month: Rs 8000

3. Trade Apprentice (ITI )

Electronics: 5 vacancies

Electrician: 3 vacancy

Fitter: 6 vacancy

Machinist: 2 vacancy

Carpenter:2 vacancy

Welder: 2 vacancy

Diesel Mechanic: 2 vacancy

Stipend per month: Rs 7000-7700

Selection Procedure: The Selection Board of PXE will go through the applications and shortlist the candidates based on the percentage of marks secured in essential qualification.

Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Interview which will be conducted through video conferencing (virtual mode) only. After Interview, only selected candidates will be offered appointment letter through e-mail.
