DRDO announces fresh vacancies in 7th Central Pay Commission scale, check details

The recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) has invited applications for graduate engineers and post-graduates in Science for recruitment to the posts of Scientist ‘B’ in the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA).

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website at rac.gov.in.

The application process is underway and the deadline for the submission of the application form is 21 days from the publication of the advertisement in the employment news.

Total Vacancy: 181 posts

• UR Candidates: 73 posts 

• EWS Candidates: 18 posts

• OBC Candidates: 49 posts

• SC Candidates: 28 posts

• ST Candidates: 13 posts

Educational Qualification

At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/Master’s Degree in Science in the required stream from a recognised university or equivalent.

Candidates should possess the requisite essential qualification along with a valid GATE Qualification or essential qualification from IITs/NITs with minimum aggregate 80% marks.

Application Fee

• General (UR), EWS and OBC male candidates: Rs 100

• SC/ST/PwD and women candidates: Nil

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be paid Level‐10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs 56,100) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs 1,00,000 pm at the present metro city rate.
