Directorate of Enforcement announces vacancies for legal consultants, check details

The Directorate of Enforcement has issued an advertisement inviting applications for engagement of legal consultants on short term basis for its various offices all over India.

Vacancy Details

Legal Consultants: 6 posts

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a National School or recognised university or equivalent. The candidates are required to submit/ attach experience certificate issued by the Bar Association in support of the claim of the practice.

Candidates having LLM degree with 3 years of professional/ academic/ research experience may be given additional weightage for higher qualification and experience.

Age: Candidate should not be more than 32 years of age as on the date of the last date of submission of application.

Fees: The candidates who are engaged as legal consultants will be paid consolidated fee of Rs 80,000 per month.

Tenure The tenure of engagement of legal consultants shall be 3 years (to be renewed at the end of 1st year, 2nd and 3rd year respectively) extendable up to 5 years as per performance and official requirements.

The legal consultants on having accepted the offer of engagement shall enter into a contract, also having the confidentiality clause, with the Directorate of Enforcement, dealing the terms of engagement, before being assigned any work.
