The Department of Gender Studies (DGS), NCERT will hold walk-in-interview on July 29 to recruit one Junior Project Fellow (JRF).

As per the advertisement, the JRF will be engaged for the project, ‘Impact Assessment of Select Initiatives of Government of India for Gender Equality and Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse’.

The appointment of the JRF will be purely on temporary basis, the advertisement read.

JRF Vacancy Details:

Qualification:

Essential: Master’s degree in gender studies, education, social science, sociology or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA. (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST/PH).

Desirable: Research experience in relevant area. Experience in data collection, data analysis and report writing. Job Profile: To visit states for collection of data, data analysis and assisting in report writing.

Tenure: Up to March 31, 2023 Age: Below 40 years (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST/PH/women) as per UGC guidelines.

Remuneration:

Rs 25000 (Consoldidated for NET qualified candidates)

Rs 23000 (Consoldidated for Non-NET qualified candidates)

Important Notes: Fellowship is purely on temporary basis and it will not confer on him/her for regular employment in NCERT. The candidate who has already worked as JRF in the council for two years and more are not eligible to apply again.
