Delhi University Recruitment: Vacancies Announced For Teaching Posts, Salary 7th CPC

The Delhi University has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of several teaching posts.

As per the advertisement, 186 professor and 449 posts of associate professors in several departments of the university will be filled up in the current recruitment drive. The last date to apply for the posts is February 7, 2022.

The salary of both the professor and associate professors will be in the Academic Pay Level 13A as per 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix, the official notification read.

Details:

1. Professor: 186 Posts Eligibility (A or B):

A. (i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria.

(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College as Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

B. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided she/he has ten years’ experience.

2. Associate Professor: 449 posts

Eligibility:

i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

ii) A master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or accredited research Institution/Industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

A total research score of seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in the Screening Guidelines for this post.

-It is compulsory for all the applicants who had filled the form in 2019 and who wish to apply again, have to log in and submit their application again.

- Applicants are advised to check the data of all sections before submitting the form.

- Old applicants are advised to log in from the same email id which they have used in 2019 so that they can get the benefit of fee exemption and get a pre-filled form.

-Old applicants can update/edit or add in the previously filled details.

-Old applicants can apply to any other post in which they have not applied earlier from the same login and a fee will be applicable for new applications as per rules.
