DACE-IGNOU to recruit academic consultant, salary Rs 50k

Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for one post (Full-Time) of Consultant in the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) in the School of Social Sciences (SOSS), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

As per the advertisement issued by IGNOU, the position is initially for a period of six months, extendable further as per the requirement of the DACE.

Academic Consultant: 1 Post

Educational Qualification and Desirable Experience:

- Ph.D. in any Discipline of Social Sciences.

- Master's Degree in any Discipline of Social Sciences with minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC without creamy layer/differently-abled).

-Teaching/Research experience of minimum three years on digital platforms in Open learning system.

- Proficiency in English and Hindi both is required.

Job Profile

The nature of work would involve engagement in activities pertaining to coaching of Civil Services aspirants in the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE). The job would entail development of reading material, assessment exercises (test series, assignments, etc.) and assisting the DACE team in Online Teaching (coordination with subject experts, scheduling time-table, keeping track of assignments, keeping attendance, maintaining records and other related activities).
