Coal India Recruitment: Apply for 560 Management Trainee posts; check details

Coal India Limited is currently accepting applications for Management Trainee positions.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested can apply online via the official Coal India Limited website at coalindia.in.

The application process is underway and the last date to apply for the post is October 12.  The recruitment will be done through GATE 2023 score.

• Mining: 351 posts

• Civil: 172 posts

• Geology: 37 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a degree in Mining, Civil, or M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics, or Applied Geophysics from a University or Institute recognised by the appropriate statutory authority in India. Additionally, the degree should be obtained through a regular full-time course.

Age Limit

The Upper Age Limit is 30 Years as on August 31, 2023 for General (UR) & EWS category candidates.

Selection Process

The selection process entails eligible candidates participating in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2023). 

Following the evaluation of GATE-2023 Scores/Marks and considering the specific requirements, candidates will be shortlisted based on their discipline and category. 

This shortlisting will be done at a ratio of 1:3 in order of merit for the subsequent stages of the selection process. 

Ultimately, the final merit list for each discipline will be compiled based on the GATE-2023 Scores/Marks.

Application Fee

Candidates falling under the GENERAL (UR), OBC (Creamy Layer & Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS categories are obligated to submit a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 along with applicable GST, totaling Rs 1,180 (One Thousand One Hundred Eighty only). However, those belonging to the SC, ST, PwBD categories, as well as Employees of Coal India Limited and its Subsidiaries, are exempt from paying any application fee.
