The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the recruitment of 403 Head Constable (General Duty) posts under the Sports Quota for the year 2025. Both male and female sportspersons, who meet the eligibility criteria, are invited to apply online through the official website. The application process is entirely online and will be open from May 18 to June 6, 2025 (up to 23:59 hours).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. If not, a Government of India notification declaring equivalence must be provided.

Age Limit

Age should be between 18 and 23 years as of August 1, 2025 (born between August 2, 2002 and August 1, 2007). Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 40 years for departmental candidates (up to 45 years for SC/ST).

Physical Standards

Height: 167 cm (male), 153 cm (female)
Chest: 81–86 cm (5 cm expansion for male), not applicable for female

Relaxations apply for hill area candidates, Gorkhas, and Scheduled Tribes:

Height: 160 cm (male), 153 cm (female)
Chest: 81–86 cm (male), not applicable for female

Weight: Must be proportionate to age and height

Sports Eligibility

Candidates applying under the Sports Quota must meet at least one of the prescribed criteria. In individual events, they should have either represented India at the international level or represented their state at the national level. The same criteria apply for team events, where representation at either the international or national level is required.

Application Fee

Applications must be submitted online only via the official CISF website. The fee is Rs 100, with exemptions for SC, ST, and all female candidates. Payment can be made through net banking, UPI, cards, or SBI challan, which must be generated by June 6, 2025 and paid by June 7, 2025.

Selection Procedure

The CISF Head Constable (GD) recruitment process is conducted in two stages. The first stage includes a trial test, proficiency test, physical standard test (PST), and documentation, while candidates who qualify move on to the second stage, which consists of a medical examination.
