CISF announces 1130 vacancies for constable posts; 64 positions in Odisha

The Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Constables.

The application process will begin on August 31 and will conclude on September 30, 2024. The Correction window will be valid from October 10 to October 12, 2024.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed 12th grade or equivalent exam from a recognized board in Science stream to be eligible to apply for this position.

Age Limit

The candidates should be between the age of 18 to 23 years as on September 30, 2024. The candidates should not have born before October 1, 2001 and not later than September 30, 2006.

The upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST category is 5 years, for OBC, and ex- servicemen it is 3 years. For other reserved category candidates, the upper age limit relaxation is varied, aspirants can refer to the official notification for rest of the details.

Physical Aspects

Height: 170 Cms

Chest: 80-85 Cms (Minimum expansion 5 Cms)

Weight: The weight should be proportionate to height.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay an amount of Rs 100 to apply. However, candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying any fee.
