The Central Bank of India has announced job opportunities for Safai Karmachari Cum Sub-Staff and/or Sub-Staff positions.

Educational Qualification

Applicants for Safai Karmachari Cum Sub-Staff and/or Sub-Staff roles need a minimum qualification of Eighth standard pass. Higher qualifications don't provide any advantage. Common criteria include proficiency in the official language of the State/Union Territory and being a local resident of the relevant area for which they're applying.

Age Limit

The candidate's age must have been between 18 years and 26 years when initially engaged as a temporary/casual worker, with relaxation applicable as per rules for eligible categories.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 850 for all candidates and Rs 175 for SC/ST/PwBD/EXSM candidates.

Selection Process

The selection process involves an Online examination conducted by IBPS and a Local language test conducted by the Bank, both strictly based on merit. Successful candidates in the written examination are required to undergo the local language test/examination.

Penalties for incorrect answers in the Objective Tests are applicable. For each wrongly answered question, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty, contributing to the calculation of the corrected score.
