CBSE invites applications for Superintendent and Junior Assistant posts, check details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Superintendent and Junior Assistant. 

Interested candidates may apply online from the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in. 

As per the vacancy advertisement, the registration process is scheduled to begin on January 2, 2025. 

However, as per the detailed notification, registration has begun today, January 1, 2025.

The last date to submit applications is January 31, 2025.

CBSE Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 212 posts

• Superintendent: 142 posts

• Junior Assistant: 70 posts

Educational Qualification

Superintendent: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Junior Assistant: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 18 years old on the last date for receipt of application forms (31 January 2025).

Selection Procedure

Superintendent: Selection would be based on a two-tier examination, followed by a skill test qualifying in nature. Shortlisted candidates for Tier-2 written (descriptive) test from the objective (Multiple Choice Questions type) Tier-1 test, 1:10 ratios.

Junior Assistant Post: The shortlisting includes Tier-1 MCQ exam that will be accompanied by a qualifying skill test. Based on performance in the Tier-1 examination, candidates shall be shortlisted in the ratio 1:5 for appearing for the skill test.

Examination Fee

Examination fee of Rs 800 for each post for candidates belonging to the category of Unreserved/OBC/EWS. 

No fee is charged from SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Departmental candidates.

Payments through debit cards of RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro, credit cards, and internet banking.
