The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the date for the conduct of the main written examination and computer skill test for the post of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO) 2022.
The commission has already published the results of the preliminary examination. Candidates can check their results from the official website of the Commission.
As per the latest OSSC notice, the main written examination and computer skill test for the post of Block Social Security Officer 2022 will be conducted on January 8, 2023 and January 9, 2023, respectively. The examinations will be held at Bhubaneswar.

1. Main Written Examination
Date: January 8, 2023
Total Marks: 200 (MCQ-100 marks, each question carries 2 marks).
Short Answer Type: 100 marks (each question carries 10 marks).
Duration: 3 hours.
The examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode. There shall be negative marking @0.5 for each wrong answer in MCQ type.
2. Computer Skill Test
Date: January 9, 2023
Total Marks: 50
Duration: 1 hour
Reporting Time: 9:30 am
Gate Closing Time: 10:30 am
Exam Timing: 11 am to 12 noon
The candidates can download their admission letter from the OSSC website from December 31, 2022. The candidates can do this by using their credentials to appear in the examination/test in the venue on the date and time mentioned therein.
“The candidates who fail to appear in any of the test on the schedule date and time, his/her candidature for the post will not be considered for the next stage (certificate verification)," the commission said.
