Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Thursday confirmed that it has not published any notification regarding the recruitment of Junior Telecom Officers (JTO).
Several media outlets published reports of the recruitment drive for 11,705 BSNL JTO posts. BSNL denied and termed the said drive as fake.
As per the fake job notification, for being eligible to apply for the posts aspirants should have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent from a Central government /State government-recognised Institution/University.
The age should be between 20 years and 30 years. The fake recruitment drive also promised that the selected candidates will be appointed as executives at an E1 IDA Pay Scale of Rs 16400 - 40500 (2nd PRC pay W.e.f. 01.01.2007).
“Please beware from fake news. This news report about #BSNL JTO recruitment 2023 is not true,” BSNL tweeted from its official page.
It also advised aspirants to visit the official website i.e. bsnl.co.in for authentic information regarding new vacancies.
“No such notice/ advertisement is issued by BSNL. You can find authentic BSNL news only on our website https://bsnl.co.in,” it added.
