BSF Recruitment 2024: Apply for Group B & Group C posts in Water Wing Dept, check eligibility criteria

The Border Security Force (BSF) has invited online applications for the recruitment against Group B and C vacancies in Water Wing Department.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website of BSF at rectt.bsf.gov.in.

The application process has already commenced and the last date to apply for the post is June 30, 2024.

• SI (Engine Driver): 4 posts

• HC (Master): 35 posts

• HC (Engine Driver): 57 posts

• HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine): 3 posts

• HC (Workshop) Electrician: 3 posts

• HC (Workshop) AC Technician: 1 post

• HC (Workshop) Electronics: 1 post

• HC (Workshop) Machinist: 1 post

• HC (Workshop) Carpenter: 3 posts

• HC (Workshop) Plumber: 2 posts

• Constable (Crew): 45 posts

Age Limit

The age limit for various posts as of July 1, 2024, is specified as follows: For the SI (Master) and SI (Engine Driver) posts, candidates must be between 22 and 28 years old, meaning they should have been born between July 1, 1996, and July 1, 2002. 

For the HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (Workshop), and Constable (Crew) posts, the age requirement is between 20 and 25 years, with eligible candidates born between July 1, 1999, and July 1, 2004. 

Age relaxation is applicable according to the relevant rules.

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply, candidates must have passed Matriculations/Class 12th/ITI/Bachelor’s in relevant discipline from recognised University or Institute.

• For Group B Posts: Rs 200

• For Group C Posts: Rs 100 

• For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates: Nil
