The Border Security Force (BSF) has invited applications for Group B positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the direct recruitment in engineering set up of BSF by May 30, 2022.

Applications can be submitted for Inspector (Architect), Sub-Inspector (Works) and Junior Engineer/Sub-Inspector (Electrical) posts. Through the recruitment drive, BSF is expected to fill around 90 posts.

Education Qualification

Inspector (Architect): Degree in Architecture from a recognised University or Institution. Registered with Council of Architecture under Architects Act, 1972.  

Sub-Inspector (Works): Completed three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognised by the Central Government or State Government.  
Junior Engineer/Sub-Inspector (Electrical): Completed three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognised by the Central Government or State Governments. 

Pay Scale 

For Inspector (Architect) posts: Pay matrix level-7 (Rs 44,900-1,42,400) as per 7th CPC. 

For the other posts: Pay matrix level-6 (Rs 35,400-1,12,400) as per 7th CPC.

Candidates should note that the applications will be accepted through online mode only and the crucial date for determining the age limit shall be closing date for receipt of applications. 

The vacancies are subject to change (may increase or decrease) and the BSF reserves the right to make changes or cancel or postpone the recruitment without assigning any reason.
