BSF announces vacancy for Veterinary Staff; Apply before March 6 

The Border Security Force (BSF) has invited applications for appointment to fill up the vacancies in Group-‘C’ combatised (non-gazetted) posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts online by visiting the official website at rectt.bsf.gov.in.

The last date to apply for the post is March 6, 2023.

Total posts: 26 posts

• HC(Veterinary): 18 posts

• Constable (Kennelman): 8 posts

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply for the posts, candidates should pass 10th and 12th class from a recognised Board and have two years of experience in handling animals from the Government Veterinary hospital or dispensary or Veterinary College or Government Farm.

Age Limit

The age of candidates must be between 18 years to 25 years.

The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case shall be closing date on receipt of online application.

Age Relaxation

• Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 5 years

• Other Backward Classes: 3 years

• Ex-Servicemen: 8 years

Physical Standards

Height

Male: 165 Cms, Female: 150 Cms

Chest

Male only: 76 Cms (81 cms after expansion)

Weight

The weight should be corresponding to height and age.

Tattoo

The size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or hand) of the body.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs 100 as examination fee plus Rs 47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC).

However, SC/ST/Female/Ex-serviceman and BSF candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
