Big job opportunities: 1.30 lakh CRPF constable posts to be filled up, MHA issues notification

In a major employment boost, the Ministry of Home Affairs has released an official notification for recruitment of nearly 1.30 lakh constables (General Duty) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on the official website at crpf.gov.in.

In this recruitment drive, around 1,29,929 vacant positions will be filled by CRPF, out of which 1,25,262 posts are reserved for male candidates and 4,667 posts for female candidates. For ex-Agniveers, 10 percent of vacancies shall be reserved.

The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. The age limit of the candidate should be between 18 years and 23 years of age to apply for the post.

Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories will get age relaxation for five years. In case of OBC candidates, the age relaxation is three years.

For being eligible to apply for the posts, candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent from a board recognised by Central or State Government or equivalent Army qualification in case of ex-Army personal.

The selection of candidates will be done through physical efficiency test, medical test and written examination. Candidates must qualify physical efficiency test and written exam for further processing in the recruitment drive.
