BHU announces recruitment for Associate Professor and other posts, check pay scale

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is currently accepting applications for the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

Total Vacancy: 143 posts

Educational Qualification

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have relevant medical degree from recognised University or Institute.

Application Fee

The application fee for UR, EWSs, and OBCs categories is Rs 1000. However, candidates belonging to SCs, STs, PwBDs category, as well as Women and Transgender candidates, are exempt from paying any application fee.

Pay Scale

• Associate Professor: Academic Level-13-A: Rs 1,31,400 – Rs 2,17,100

• Assistant Professor: Level -11: Rs 67,700 – Rs 208700

• Assistant Professor: Academic Level–10: Rs 57,700 – Rs 1,82,400

Only candidates from the medical stream with MD/MS/MDS and a minimum of 3 years post PG experience, OR DM/M.Ch or DNB (equivalent as per TEQ Regulations of NMC, Gazette Notification dated 14.02.2022 ) shall be eligible for appointment at pay Level-11.
