Bharat Electronics Limited, BEL, has released an official notification for the recruitment into posts of Trainee Engineer-I and Project Engineer-I on a temporary basis to their Product Development & Innovation Centre (PDIC) & Centres of Excellence (CoE), Bengaluru.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to possess a B.E./B. Tech/B.Sc. Engineering degree (4-year course) in relevant disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, with a PASS CLASS. This qualification is required for both Trainee Engineers - I and Project Engineers - I positions.
The minimum work experience required to be eligible for Trainee Engineers – I is NIL. However, to be eligible for Project Engineers – I a candidate should possess minimum of 2 years work experience.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit to apply for the position of Trainee Engineers – I is 28 years and for Project Engineers – I the maximum age limit is 32 years. However, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and for SC/ST aspirants it is 5 years for both the positions.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for Trainee Engineers – I are required to pay an amount of Rs 150 and for Project Engineers - I positions the applicants are required to pay an amount of Rs 400. Aspirants belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from paying any fee.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for both Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer positions involves a written test. For Trainee Engineers, candidates meeting the specified criteria will be invited to take a 100-mark written test, with negative marking of 0.5 mark for each incorrect response.
For Project Engineers, candidates will take an 85-mark written test, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates based on their written test performance.
