Banaras Locomotive Works: Apply for 374 apprentice posts by Nov 25

Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) has initiated the online application process for the recruitment of Apprentices within the Indian Railways, under the Government of India. 

Qualified and enthusiastic candidates have the opportunity to apply for these positions through the official websites blw.indianrailways.gov.in or apprenticeblw.in. 

The application deadline is set for November 25.

ITI Apprentice Vacancies: 300 posts

• Painter (General): 7 posts

• Machinist: 67 posts

• Welder (Gas & Electric): 45 posts

• Electrician: 71 posts

Non-ITI Apprentice Vacancies: 74 posts

• Fitter: 30 posts

• Carpenter: No posts available

• Painter (General): No posts available

• Machinist: 15 posts

• Welder (Gas & Electric): 11 posts

• Electrician: 18 posts

Educational Qualification

For Non-ITI positions, candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of 10th Class. For ITI roles, candidates need to have a 10th Class education and should have successfully completed an ITI program in the relevant trade.

Age Limit

The minimum age for eligibility is 15 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 24 years for most trades. However, it's important to note that for the Welder and Carpenter trades, the maximum age limit is 22 years.

Application Fees

Applicants belonging to the General/Unreserved categories are required to submit an application fee/processing fee of Rs 100 for their application. On the other hand, candidates from the SC/ST/PwBD and Female categories are not required to pay any fees and are exempt from such charges.
