The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Delhi, has invited applications for engagement of staff on contractual basis for a period of two years which is extendable by one year.

The positions for which the advertisement was published are Senior Lead (Research) 4 numbers, Lead (Research) 6 numbers and Sports Associate 5 numbers.

Eligibility Criteria For Senior Lead (Research):

I. Essential Qualification:- Persons having Master’s Degree in relevant subject (Sports, Law, Management) or technical qualifications like B. Tech or MBA or equivalent qualification in relevant field are eligible.

II. Desirable Qualification: - Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) specialization in Sports Management from a recognized university.

III. Essential Experience: - Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field like sports analytics/research/management.

IV. Desirable Experience: -

a. Experience in any Government/ Semi Govt./Autonomous/ PSU / Private Sector are also considerable.

b. Excellent knowledge of office software like MS office, Excel, Power point etc. and research tools.

c. Understanding of results and competition formats in Olympic sports.

d. Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.

e. Applicant with research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.

I. Essential Qualification:-B.Tech/MBA/PGDM (2 years from a recognized University.

II. Desirable Qualification: - MBA/Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) specialization in Sports Management from a recognized university.

III. Essential Experience: - Minimum of 06 months (In relevant field as mentioned in JD)

IV. Desirable Experience: -

a. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field.

b. Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.

c. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

d. Knowledge of IT, Software applications and Social Media.

Tenure:

The contractual engagement will be initially for a period of two years, extendable by one year on the basis of satisfactory performance.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for the respective posts is as follows: -

a. Senior Lead (Research) – 45 years as on 31st October, 2021.

b. Lead (Research) – 32 years as on 31st October, 2021.

c. - 32 Years as on 31st October, 2021.

Remuneration:

Senior Lead (Research) – Rs 80,000 – Rs 1,45,000/ Month (4 positions)

Lead (Research) – Rs 45,000 - 60,000/Month (6 positions)

Sports Associate – Rs 40,000 - 50,000/Month (5 positions)
