The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has officially announced 5,563 job openings in various departments, including the Assam Police, DGCD, and APRO.
The application procedure is scheduled to kick off on October 15, with the final date for application submission set for November 1.

Applicants must hold Indian citizenship and be permanent residents of Assam. Those who are selected will be required to provide proof of residence following the publication of the final selection list. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC/MOBC categories are exempt from the requirement to submit residence certificates. Additionally, candidates must possess fluency in the Assamese language or any other official state language.
