State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam has invited applications for recruitment of Sub Inspector of Police posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their forms up to February 22 on slprbassam.in.

Assam Police Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 58 posts

• SI (Communication) in APRO: 16

• SI (AB) for newly created Assam Commando Battalions: 42

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not be more than 24 years and less than 20 years of age as on January 1, 2023.

(Candidate must be born on or before January 1, 2003 and on or after January 1, 1999).

The upper age limit will be relaxed for:

• SC, ST (P) and ST (H) candidates: 5 years

• OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply for the posts, candidates must have passed Matriculation/BA/BSc/BE/BTech/MSc from recoginsed Board/Institute/University. 

Selection Process

• Physical Standard Test

• Physical Efficiency Test

• Written Test

• Oral/Viva-Voice/Psychometric Test

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be Rs 14,000 – Rs 60,500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs 8,700 Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
