Eligibility Criteria
Applicants interested in the position should have successfully completed the H.S.L.C or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council. The age of candidates should fall within the range of 18 to 40 years as of January 1, 2024. Additionally, candidates are required to register their names with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Selection Process
The selection process includes Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), with the PET carrying 40 marks. Candidates who successfully clear the PST/PET will be eligible to participate in the written test. The written test comprises 100 multiple-choice questions, to be marked on an OMR answer sheet. Each correct answer will earn the candidate half a mark. The Written Test is scheduled to take place in Guwahati, and the date and venue will be communicated in due course.
