Assam Police announces Excise Constable vacancies, check details here

Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has invited applications for recruitment of Excise Constable in the Excise Department.

The application process for the recruitment drive will commence on January 10.

“Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after the publication of the final select list,” read the official notification.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on or before February 8 at the official website, i.e. www.slprbassam.in.

Educational Qualification 

For being eligible, the aspirant should have passed HSLC or equivalent from government recognised Board or Council.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 30 years as on July 1, 2022 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before July 1, 2024 and on or after July 1, 1992)

The upper age limit will be relaxed for,

• SC, ST (P) and ST(H): 5 years

• OBC/MOBC: 3 years

Physical Standard

Height  

• Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC  - Male: 162.56 cm, Female: 154.94 cm

• ST (P) /ST(H) - Male: 160.02 cm, Female: 152.40 cm

Chest (Only for men) 

• Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) etc - Normal: 80 cm, Expanded 85 cm

• ST(H) - Normal:78 cm, Expanded 83 cm

Weight

The weight of the aspirant must be proportionate to height as per Medical Standards.
