Application process begins for 100 PGT teacher recruitment, salary Rs 1.4 lakh per month

Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL) on behalf of The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (Royal Government of Bhutan) has published official notification for the recruitment of PGT teachers.

Candidates are required to apply online through EdCIL website www.edcilteacherrecruitment.com.

The application process has already commenced and the last date to apply for the post is February 15.

EDCIL Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 100 posts

• Computer Science/ICT:  28 posts

• Physics: 18 posts

• Chemistry: 19 posts

• Mathematics: 35 posts

Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks. For PGT Mathematics, PGT Chemistry, and PGT Physics positions, a Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university is mandatory. For PGT Computer Science / ICT, a B. Ed. Degree is preferable but not mandatory. Proficiency in teaching in English is essential. Additionally, PGT teachers should possess at least 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject for 11th and 12th Grades. High proficiency in utilizing technology for education is also required.

Age Limit

Candidates should not exceed 55 years of age as of January 16, 2024, which is the commencement date for online applications.

Remuneration

The teachers shall be paid a consolidated gross remuneration of Rs 1,40,000 per month from the date of joining.
