The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the tentative calendar for the exams to be held in 2022.

As per the calendar, the UPSC civil services 2022 notification will be released on 2nd February while the exam will be conducted on June 5.

Candidates can check the UPSC exam calendar 2022, by visiting the official website of the commission, upsc.gov.in.

Meanwhile, the UPSC Mains exam 2021 is all set to be held on January 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16. However, several aspirants have been demanding postponement of the exam in view of the increase in Covid-19 cases.

The candidates believe that the conduct of the Mains exam at a time when the cases are on the rise may put their lives at risk. They have also demanded the UPSC and the Centre to consider their demand and postpone the exam at least for a couple of weeks.

However, there has been no reply or official statement from the commission in this regard which make it quite clear that the UPSC Mains exam will definitely begin on Friday (January 7).

It is worth mentioning that keeping in view the requests of candidates for allowing change in their centre for the Civil Services (Main) examination 2021, the Commission had earlier given an opportunity to revise their examination centres.
